I began my career as an interaction designer over 25 years ago.
My journey has led me through various roles, including UX designer, information architect, product manager, design leader, and executive. I've worked at Escalate Retail, Yahoo!, Netsuite, BEA Systems, SAP BusinessObjects and Databricks. Most recently I built and led a 21-person design team at Sigma Computing, where I started my 5-year tenure by fixing previous talent issues and restructuring the department and its operations to better meet company goals. At my departure, the design organization was the only team at the company with zero unregretted attrition.
Throughout my career, I've crafted top-tier software and have been present for acquisitions and IPOs. I've collaborated closely with small teams, addressed software and design flaws, and reignited the spirit of disheartened teams to help them deliver new, innovative products. I prefer early-stage startups, particularly those dedicated to developing enterprise products from the ground up.
